experimentation

 While i have experimented a lot on paper with Venus, these are my digital experiments,

 

This was largely a product of when the project was more risographed based, though i would of had to make lines thicker, there was planned to be a more sketchy look to it in moments of high tension. 

This is was i thought about doing Venuses main story in, while side stories are different stylistically.
using heavy amounts of textural and thick line, and dot work to inform everything, and a slight undercurrent of yellow under the linework from my sketches, though i don't know how well this would work in the long term, it helped linework pop more from the half tone.
