These are some drafts for the Venus book covers
Two of them largely focusing on Maria being in the Nevada desert sleeping, some of it being her being sun burnt and with desert plants, the title would be placed at the bottom
another one was her sleeping in a crater, with the grass and other foliage blasted out, though i wasn't sure where to put the title being the book is very square.
The last one being something that thematically ties to the larger universe, however i decided it would be best for it not to be the book cover, even if it is the strongest one.
In the end i used a slightly modified version of this work, first being used for a different projects it's a piece of pixel art.
Thematically it tied better overall with the title "Venus Anatomica" and is referenced in the piece of work itself
